In the round of 16 of the Polish Cup, we defeated Wigry Suwałki 3:2 (2:1) away, securing our place in the next round.

The first goal of the match came in the 19th minute from Pavlo Berezianskyi, who headed the ball into the net after a corner kick taken by Kuba Lemanowicz. Wigry couldn’t hold onto their lead for long, as just five minutes later the score was tied at 1:1, thanks to Szymon Kobusiński. Kobus found the net from close range after a precise pass from Ilkay Durmus.

Ten minutes later, we took a 2:1 lead with a goal from Durmus. The Turkish player scored with a powerful low shot from near the six-yard box, beating Mateusz Taudul. We headed into the locker room with a one-goal advantage.

The second half continued with our offensive efforts. One of these attacks resulted in a goal by Ernest Terpiłowski in the 60th minute, set up by a pass from Paweł Olszewski. With ten minutes left in regular time, Wigry closed the gap with a goal from Maciej Makuszewski, ensuring an exciting finish.

However, we didn’t allow the hosts many opportunities, and the score of 3:2 held until the final whistle. This victory secured our advancement to the round of 16 in the Polish Cup. The draw for this phase will take place on Monday, November 4, at 16:00, with potential opponents including Wisła Kraków, Ruch Chorzów, Jagiellonia Białystok, and Łódzki Klub Sportowy.
