Third victory in a row! We win at home against Odra Opole
In the match of the 9th round of the Betclic 1st League, we confidently defeated Odra Opole 3-0. This is our third victory in a row!
From the very beginning, we imposed our style of play on the visitors, and we didn’t have to wait long for the effects of our offensive actions. Already in the 15th minute we took the lead after Łukasz Zjawiński scored. Zjawa found his best position in the opponent’s penalty area after receiving a cross from a corner kick and heading the ball into the net. Twenty minutes later it was two to zero for the Capital City Pride. Dani Vega, playing on the right side of the pitch, broke inside and sent a cross with his left foot to Oliwier Wojciechowski, who was struggling with the defenders, who shot the ball into the goal with a shot in the air.
However, not everything went as we expected. Ilkay Durmus had to leave the field in the 34th minute, and Dani Vega at the beginning of the second half. In their place, Ernest Terpiłowski and Marcel Predenkiewicz appeared on the playing field, respectively.
The forced changes did not negatively affect the quality and intensity of our game. In the 51st minute, the ball from a free kick went to Erjon, who tried to surprise the goalkeeper with a header. If it weren’t for the intervention of one of the defenders, Odra’s goalkeeper would have had to work hard to keep the ball from hitting the net.
Odra created the most dangerous opportunity to score a goal in the 65th minute. After Oliwier Wojciechowski lost the ball, the visiting striker Edvin Muratović found himself in a one-on-one situation. However, Mateusz Kuchta made an excellent intervention, reacting quickly, leaving the goal and shortening the angle of the shot at the right moment.
In the following minutes, the game was still under our control, and in added time, for the third time in this match, Hładun had to take the ball out of the net. Terpiłowski’s cross from the left was blocked by Kobusiński, who passed the ball to Predenkiewicz, who probably increased the score!
We will play the next match at Konwiktorska 6 on Sunday, September 29 at 2:30 p.m., and our opponent will be Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza. Tickets for this match are available online and at Czarna Koszula Sports Bar.
