Last match this year at #K6. We are playing against Stala Rzeszów
In the last match at #K6 this year, the Black Shirts team will play against the 10th team in the table, Stal Rzeszów. Before the first whistle of the referee, scheduled for 18:00, there will be a ceremony to thank Łukasz Piątek for his years of representing the Pride of the Capital. You must be with us #NaStadion then. Buy your ticket online or at the stadium box office. See you there!
Rival’s profile:
In the summer, there was a real personnel revolution in the ranks of Stal Rzeszow, associated with a change in the concept of building the staff of the first team. A total of 17 players left the club, and 12 new players were contracted in their place. Daniel Mysliwiec also said goodbye to the position of coach. His duties were entrusted to the experienced Marek Zub, who celebrated his greatest successes as a coach in Lithuania.
Until the 10th round, Stal in no way resembled the team that, just a few weeks ago, fought in the bargaining for promotion to the PKO BP Ekstraklasa. The team from Podkarpacie had only three victories in the first ten rounds and occupied the relegation zone from the very beginning.
The breakthrough for Stal turned out to be a derby match against Resovia in the 10th series of the struggle. Then Marek Zub’s team defeated its local rival 2:1 after a goal in the last seconds of the match. Since then, the blue-and-whites have won three times (including against Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza and Górnik Łęczna), recorded two draws, and suffered just one defeat, translating into another 11 points and the 10th place in the table.
