In the 14th round of the games, Duma Stolicy will play away against Stal Stalowa Wola. This will be our first match against this opponent since 2017, when we secured a 1-0 victory in Podkarpacie, thanks to a goal from Marcin Kluska. On Sunday (October 27) at 17:00, our players will fight for a repeat of history. We invite you to watch the match at Czarna Koszula Sports Bar!

Stal Stalowa Wola currently sits second to last in the first league table, having accumulated seven points after thirteen matches. The newly promoted team earned their first three points only in the 11th round. In the last weekend of September, Stal won at home against Ruch Chorzów with a score of 2-0, with goals from Łukasz Furtak and Damian Urban. Following that victory over the fourteen-time Polish champions, Stal recorded two draws: 2-2 against Stal Rzeszów and 0-0 against ŁKS Łódź, marking a three-match unbeaten streak.

The hosts of Sunday’s match have scored ten goals and conceded twenty-two this season, with three matches resulting in a clean sheet. The most effective player for Stal this season is surprisingly Dominik Jończy, a 27-year-old defender, who has scored two goals. In total, under the guidance of coach Ireneusz Pietrzykowski, the team has taken 51 shots on target, with nearly 20% resulting in goals.

So far, we have faced Stal Stalowa Wola 18 times in league competitions. The head-to-head record favors us, with eight victories, six draws, and four wins for Stal. The last encounters were in the 2016/2017 season in the second league, where we triumphed in both matches: winning 2-1 at home and 1-0 away. The only player from Czarna Koszula who remembers both matches is Marcin Kluska, who scored in both games.
