For one of the key players in the recent history of the Black Shirts, the match against Stala Rzeszów will be a farewell to Konwiktorska Street as a player. The long, successful, and memorable career of Polonia’s central midfielder, Łukasz Piątek, will come to an end. Come to Friday’s match to thank him for his performances and the role of captain he played at our club over the years! Always playing to the max, tenacious, and hardworking in the midfield. Experts have repeatedly said of him that he is the most underrated Ekstraklasa footballer. Łukasz Piątek in the colors of Polonia was always a fighter, never letting go. You too, don’t let go of the opportunity to thank him for his commitment!

Unfortunately, in soccer, there are sometimes moments of difficult farewells and decisions for fans, club staff, and the players themselves. As of 2024, Lukasz will no longer be a player for Czarni Koszul. The 38-year-old Lukasz is a figure who went down in gold in the history of the club from Konwiktorska Street.

Playing in the position of midfielder, Łukasz Piątek is an alumnus of Polonia Warszawa. As a footballer, he played for our club in the years 2005-2013 and 2020-2023 – in total, he spent 12 seasons at Konwiktorska Street.

He was brought to his first training session at Polonia’s popular side pitch “Sahara” by his mother. Lukasz’s first coach was Janusz Domaradzki, who guided him throughout his “junior” age. He then moved to the senior Polonia team led by Cezary Molede at the time.

He made his Ekstraklasa debut in the colors of Polonia 18 years ago in a match against Odra Wodzislaw on 06.12.2005, replacing Dariusz Dźwigała in the 68th minute. He then played continuously for Polonia until 2013, being its main player and later captain at both Ekstraklasa and 1.Liga levels. In 2020, after the club was taken over by G. Nitot, he returned to our club in the 3rd league. He made a significant contribution to Rafal Smalec’s team winning the last two promotions, and Polonia emerged from the periphery of soccer. With Polonia, he achieved the first promotion to the second and then to the 1st league. In the colors of Polonia, he played 310 matches.
