In the 9th round of the Decathlon V Liga, Polonia II Warszawa lost away to KS Łomianki with a score of 1:2.

In this highly anticipated match, Polonia II traveled to nearby Łomianki to face the local Sports Club, which was in second place in the Decathlon V Liga table before the ninth round.

At halftime, the players under Damian Falkowski went into the locker room with a one-goal lead after Łukasz Buczkowski scored in the 41st minute.

Immediately after the second half began, Łomianki equalized thanks to a goal from Oskar Zaks. Just two minutes later, it was 2:1 for the hosts, with Kewin Przygoda finding the net. The second half was marked by intense fighting, resulting in a high number of fouls from both sides. Consequently, Polonia ended the match with nine players after red cards were shown to Łukasz Buczkowski and Bartosz Falbierski. KS Łomianki finished the game with one player less.

After a tough and demanding match, we return to Warsaw without any points. The chance for redemption comes this Wednesday when we play away against Escolia Varsovia in the quarter-finals of the Mazowiecki Football Association’s Regional Cup. Three days later, on Saturday, October 12 at 3:00 PM, we will play at Sahara against Huragan Wołomin, a team we eliminated from the cup competition a few weeks ago.

Polonia II Warszawa: Grzegorzewski – Nakrosius (C), Mikołajewski, Buczkowski – Ciszewski (58. Kowalewicz), Emre Celik, Falbierski, Michalski – Kaim (79. Latsyba) – Muszyński (79. Paradowski), Radionov.
