  • Our last away game of the year is ahead of us. We are playing in Pruszków against Znicz
Publication date: 28.11.2024

For the last trip of the year, we will head to Pruszków, where on Friday we will face Znicz, currently 11th in the standings. The match will start at 18:00. We invite everyone to watch the game together at Czarna Koszula Sports Bar.

This summer, Znicz Pruszków underwent significant changes. Coach Mariusz Misiura ended his tenure at the club and moved to Wisła Płock. Grzegorz Szoka, a former player for Znicz and a coach in the club’s academy, took over the coaching duties. Szoka had gained senior coaching experience as an assistant at Chrobry Głogów.

There were also several key changes in the squad. Among those leaving the team were Shuma Nagamatsu, who was one of the stars of the team and the league, and who joined Korona Kielce. Other departures included Mateusz Grudziński (Miedź Legnica), Krystian Pomorski (Wisła Płock), and Miłosz Mleczko (Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza). In their place, the club signed 11 new players, including Vladyslav Okhronchuk, a Ukrainian midfielder who had played for us on loan from Łódzki Klub Sportowy last season.

Despite these changes, Znicz has maintained consistent form throughout the autumn season, occupying 11th place in the standings, just four points behind the promotion play-off zone. Their record so far is five wins, seven draws, and five losses. Znicz has managed to beat teams like Wisła Kraków (2-1) and take points from higher-ranked teams such as Ruch Chorzów (1-1), Arka Gdynia (1-1), and Łódzki Klub Sportowy (2-2). Their points are evenly split, with 11 points earned at home (3-2-3) and the same number from away games (2-5-2).

In the opening match of the 2024/2025 season, we suffered a 1-0 loss to Znicz Pruszków at #K6, with Łukasz Wiech scoring the winning goal in the 88th minute. The head-to-head record also doesn’t favor us. Out of seven matches, we have won only one – in the 2007/2008 season, when we triumphed 1-0 at home, with Radosław Gilewicz converting a penalty into the winning goal in the 83rd minute. Since then, we’ve faced Znicz six times, with two draws and four losses. Tomorrow, we will not only fight for three points to bring us closer to the promotion play-off zone, but also to break our poor streak against Znicz Pruszków.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 18:00. It will be broadcast on www.sport.tvp.pl and at Czarna Koszula Sports Bar. We invite you to Konwiktorska! During the match, attendees will also be able to purchase tickets for the games against Wisła Kraków, both for the league and cup matches. Tickets are still available online at www.bilety.kspolonia.pl.
